Oct 28, 2026: Canucks miracle at The Magical Kingdom; Lekkerimäki rollin'

It was a win for the ages! Ok, maybe not, but it was a pretty fun night of Canucks hockey! Matt and Blake break down the unlikely night that was in Anaheim and what it might do for the Canucks lowly spirits of late. They look at a possible breakthrough performance from Jonathan Lekkerimäki, the Elias Pettersson train keeps chugging along, and the young defencemen are finding their games too.. The guys listen in on the Canucks post game comments and look ahead to the rest of the week vs San Jose and Toronto. Patrick Johnston of Postmedia stops by to give us his thoughts on the win and what it might tell us about the young sniper in Lekkerimäki. PJ looks at the similarities of the Canucks wins and takes on whether shot totals can go up more regularly for the team that is last in the NHL in that category. Then it's The Daily Hive's Rob Williams, who predicted the Canucks win, with his thoughts on Lekk's future star status with the fanbase and whether any other young players can help save the narrative this season. The guys also look back at the reception for Quinn Hughes and wonder what will change when he's back in a couple of weeks. Matt and Blake finish up with a preview of the Whitecaps match tonight, the BC Lions are battling injuries ahead of the West semi, and the Seahawks' rival just made a big trade too!
