Patrick Johnston of Postmedia stops by to weigh in on whether Räty is still an NHL prospect now and whether "fair" has anything to do with the roster decisions. PJ talks about the importance of speed going forward, the rest of the league's interest in Merilainen, and whether Zeev Buium would benefit from a stint in the AHL.
2:00 Aatu Räty is just not good enough
4:20 Vasily Podkolzin in beast mode for the Oilers...*sigh*
6:30 Räty is barely a replacement level player, on paper
10:30 Was it the right move to risk Räty while keeping Gallagher, Bains, and Brisbois?
19:30 Leevi Meriläinen had a lot of interested teams if the Canucks didn't take him
21:30 Zeev to the AHL? PJ thinks Halford & Brough are crazy for the suggestion!
