Patrick Johnston of Post Media and the Province joined Matt and Blake for his regular Tuesday hit. PJ started off teasing a Jim Rutherford profile he is working on. PJ talked about the kind of manager and leader Rutherford has been during his time as a GM/President in the league. Patrick talked about the contrast between Horvat and Miller and how they will each fit into the lineup. The subject of Miller’s thin-blue-line hat came up and PJ talked about why that doesn’t surprise him.

Our Vancouver Canucks reporter, Jeff Paterson, joined for his regular daily hit. The guys wrapped up Young Stars and how the “tournament went for the Canucks. Together the guys talked about the potential of expansion for next year with Seattle. Jeff dropped an interesting tidbit on why Seattle might be able to force their way in. JPat talked about Bo Horvat.
