Charean Williams joined the guys to recap week 2 in the NFL season. She talked about how worried fans should be with the Seahawks. She outlined what the Titans did that other teams may try to mirror and how concerning that could be to the Hawks. Talked about what makes Henry such a good running back. Went around the league. Talked about the Ravens deciding to go for it on 4th down. Finished up with her thoughts on the officiating. News flash, it’s not good.

John Shannon joined the guys and started to talk about what he thinks the Canucks playoffs chances are. He looked around the rest of the Western Conference to see which division has the edge in playoff teams. Talked about Edmonton and how they should do this season, with all their talent. John talked about family weighing in on brothers contract situations, like the Hughes’ and Tkachuk’s. Admits that it jumps off the page but doesn’t think there is much to fuss about. He mentioned that there was a time, not too long ago, that the cap was expected to around 100 million dollars. With everything that has gone on, it won’t be even close to that for the next 4 years. 

Jeff Paterson joined in his regular spot and started to talk about the debut episode of Rink Wide. Wrapped up rookie camp from last week. Talked about allowing fans into training camp in Abbotsford. Followed up by talking about Travis Green’s comments from Ray and Dregs on his battle with Covid 19. Jeff tells us what he read into Jack Hughes’ comments about his brother and the money he should get. Followed that up with Quinn’s chances at cracking the American Olympic team. And finally, talked about our poll question and when he thinks the Canucks will be hitting the golf course.
