October 3 2022 - John Shannon & Jeff Paterson

The co-host of the Bob McCown Podcast and our Monday NHL insider, John Shannon, was back with us today. With the preseason at-large a focus of today’s show, John gave his thoughts on how it’s currently structured and offered some advice on how to make it better for fans. John gave his thoughts on Francesco Aquilini and the allegations against him, and why Canucks fans care so much more about team problems than the rest of the league. To finish up, we followed up on a story from last week that John has excellent insight into. 

Our Vancouver Canucks reporter, Jeff Paterson, joined us in studio fresh-off practice out at UBC today. Jeff gave his thoughts on the effort in Seattle and how it has led to angst in the market. The three of them went around the table on the battle for the backup goaltenders’ spot and the composition on defence.
