Rob Williams joined Matt and Blake to sum up the first game of the Vancouver Canucks season. Rob answered our Bodog Poll Question and had a unique answer for both choices. Rob noticed a new slogan for the team, weeks after they changed their long-time one. He finished up with a new jersey sponsor, digital boards.
Our Vancouver Canucks reporter, Jeff Paterson, joined us to chat about game 1 of 82. Jeff talked about the missed call on Hughes, the work that Miller needs to put in to round out his 200-foot game and the missed opportunities on the power play. He finished off with the strength of their five-on-five game and what was lacking on the penalty kill.
