Sekeres & Price kicked off with a huge announcement as Matt and Blake welcome the Rink Wide - Post Game to the family. Hosted by Andrew Wadden and Jeff Paterson, they will have a podcast-only version for Canucks fans to consume. 

The guys roll through their thoughts on opening night, including a great game between Vegas and the debut of the Seattle Kraken. Matt was not impressed with Commissioner Gary Bettman and his dig at ESPN.  

TSN Insider, Darren Dreger joined the program.  Started off with a bit of a dig at Ray Ferraro. Moved from that to the kicking motion in last nights game winning goal for Vegas. Says that if you are skilled enough to make that kind of play, it should count. Talked about what he is hearing with the Canucks and how they will do this year. DD says it’s all positive, speaking with brass around the league. GM’s around the league think they are a playoff worthy team, despite some questions on defence. There is a lot of faith in Demko and the tandem as a whole with Halak. Talked about Hamonic and Sutter and the latest on them.

Jeff Paterson in his regular slot and started chatting about the big post game announcement today. Talked about the stars and how they make up the core and that is something to be excited about. Talked about the lack of experience on the d-line. JPat says this doesn’t look like the makings of a contending D-care. Talked about Kyle Burroughs. Talked about MacEwen being claimed on Waivers.
