Oct 12, 2026: Canucks serve up a pair of turkeys; D-Petey is back!

After a pair of lacklustre weekend losses, Matt and Blake take a look at the highs and lows of the performances, plus, they listen in on the coach's response as the lopsided scores continue. The guys jump in on the breakout game for defenceman Elias Pettersson and where his game now has a chance to grow, and is a new defence pairing arriving with EP25 and Tom Willander? RinkWide's Jeff Paterson joins the guys to discuss all that he saw, especially the struggling penalty kill and defensive structure to start the season. The guys all debate what the next step is for the goaltenders as well, with Kevin Lankinen at sea and Leevi Merilainen waiting for a run of games. Plus, has Jake DeBrusk's hot streak added to his value on the trade market? Matt and Blake finish up with a look back at a remarkable playoff clinching Whitecaps effort vs LAFC, the BC Lions clinch a post season berth of their own vs winless Ottawa, and the Seahawks blow a chance to take down the 49ers
