An historic day for Canada as the men's national team faces Belgium at the World Cup.
Rink Wide: Vancouver's Jeff Paterson sits in for Blake Price, who was calling the game on radio, and the guys recap an outstanding 90-minute effort from Canada in a losing cause. Whitecaps FC coach Vanni Sartini stops by with his analysis of the match and says Canada should've had three penalty kicks not one. He also explains why Alphonso Davies took the kick, not striker Jonathan David.
Darren Dreger takes us through the Canucks' coaching conundrum. What is more likely: an interim or permanent replacement should they replace Bruce Boudreau? Dreger points out an oddity as he read the tea leaves on a Bo Horvat trade, and tells us why one rumoured team has to settle its own case with an unrestricted free-agent centreman before considering the Canucks captain.
