John Shannon joined for his regular Monday appearance with Matt and Blake. Talked about the playoff format and why he thinks it’s not going anywhere. Talked about Bruce Boudreau. Bruce made it fun to come to the rink. Talked about Brock Boeser and the odds of him being moved on compassionate grounds. Talked about who he thinks will win the cup. Talked about broadcasters hanging up the mic after this season. 

JPat joined for his regular spot after a busy weekend of end of season media availability. Doesn’t think that the Canucks should only eye Minny as a trading partner for Boeser. Can’t be that niche or special interest. Talked about the feeling in the locker room when Brock was talking about his dad. It’s a great take and if you are reading this, you should listen. Talked about Quinn Hughes. Talked about a potential reduction in Demko’s workload and Bruce’s thoughts on it. 

Ben Lypka of the Abby News joined Matt and Blake to help set up the playoff run for the Abbotsford Canucks. Summed up how they fell to a place where they wouldn’t be hosting any first playoff round matchups. Talked about the pillaging by the big club that affected their game. The forward depth hurt them. Jett Woo had to play forward for a couple games, for example. Talked about where he expects Podkolzin to slot in. Would love to see him play with Klimovich, who has disappeared the last 10 games. Just wants to see what happens when they team up. Dreis and Rempal have been the best all season and wouldn’t want to see them broken up. Talked about who will get a look in goal.
