MTL is playing well and it’s the first game back from a road trip. St. Louis has the team playing well without thinking about it. Talked about goaltending. Doesn’t see Mike Smith playing another game in EDM. Talked about the Predators. Can’t see Poile try to rebuild. His patience has been remarkable over the years. Nobody loves making a trade on the deadline than him. John thinks we are going to see a lot of three team deals this year. Teams with cap space that make things happen and get draft picks out of it. Says we will never see a Stanley Cup handed out in May ever again. The networks prioritize their big shows. Talked about trading Miller. Says Miller is an engine. You don’t get rid of guys like that.
