Canadian soccer reporter, Peter Galindo, joined Matt and Blake in studio as he is in town for the international window. Peter talked about what attendance could look like amidst the labour negotiations. Peter drew the distinction between the salaries of some of the players and how the money could mean different things for the individual players. Galindo explained the tough position that John Herdman is in. Peter talked about the fans and what side of the line they are standing on, saying that the hardcore’s can understand both side. The Panama cancellation hurt the players. Peter dropped a hint that we might not be done seeing games at BC Place.
Jeff Paterson, our Vancouver Canucks reporter, joined Matt and Blake from Kelowna on the last day of their Rink Wide Golf Trip. Jeff started off by answering our poll question and which Oilers player the Canucks should look at, after Ken Holland said that he can’t keep the team, as constructed, together.
