June 12, 2026: Canada gets first point at the World Cup!! Canucks add to front office

Canada opens up the World Cup, gets its first ever result at the world stage and provides a ton of drama for the boys to talk about. Matt and Blake get into Jesse Marsch's lineup decisions and who rose to the occasion in Toronto. The guys look ahead to what the result means for Canada going forward. Former Whitecaps coach Vanni Sartini joins the guys to break down the game and give his thoughts on how the players managed the moment. There is Canucks news to talk about as well though, Matt and Blake tackle the latest news as they hire an AGM and re-sign an Abby Canuck who could figure in next season. Jeff Marek is back from The Sheet and he has thoughts on the supposed Canucks "budget" constraints. Jeff also tackles the possible cost of acquisition for Brendan Gallagher and, unsurprisingly, Marek has a story about new Canucks AGM Richard Steeley!
