Rick Dhaliwal came out for his Friday hit spitting fire, as per usual. Talked about the state of the Vancouver Canucks dressing room and he agrees that things might be a little too loose in there. Rick offered some thoughts on Jim Rutherford and how likely he is to rebuild the team. Rick says that if the numbers are so high for JT Miller, that he will be moved. You have Horvat and Boeser both looking for a raise. Says that not everybody can get a raise. Rick gave us an update on Kuzmenko and where the Canucks stack up against other contenders. There won’t be a quick resolution to his landing spot. Perhaps mid-June. Blake also accused both Rick and Matt of putting words in his mouth. Rick addressed a Seravalli report on Thatcher Demko. In answering the poll question, Rick says Bieksa deserves to be in the Ring of Honour. He is a character and a team guy. Rick talked about the Lions to end the hit. Rob Williams of the Daily Hive joined for his regular Friday social hit. Rob was at the Canada match last night and talked about going in not thinking he would be writing about anything and then 2 people walked onto the pitch and started hugging the posts. Rob followed up on his Lions cheer squad and the fresh look it will have this year. Finally Rob, who inspired our poll question, talked about Kevin Bieksa and his Ring of Honour chances.
