Hockey news is back on the front burner as North Van's Macklin Celebrini signs with the Sharks for the highest cap hit in NHL history. Matt and Blake take a look at the deal for the local boy and what it means for his possible free agency in 6 years time. The guys debate whether he or Conor Bedard will ever don a Canucks uniform. The guys also dive into the newly announced Amazon Prime NHL deal that will see the streamer get a few playoff series. The guys get into the impacts for the consumer after seeing the Prime product this season. The Daily Hive's Rob Williams stops by to discuss the possibility of the local superstars uniting in Vancouver one day. He gets into the 2 Canucks prospects getting big roles at the Canadian Junior Summer Showcase, and what the latest Canucks' marketing campaign may say about the team's plans and priorities with certain players. They also bounced the future of BC Place off of each other as the concept of privatization continues to float around. Then, it's MLB.com's Keegan Matheson with the lowdown on what has gone terribly wrong for the Jays this season and what might be their path out of it for next year. He gets into trade scenarios for the current Jays roster and maybe even some player acquisition if the fit is right. The guys wrap up the show with a preview of the Whitecaps this weekend as Berhalter says goodbye, the BC Lions prep for a new QB tomorrow, and the NBA is back for another game this fall!
