July 16, 2025: The Canucks schedule drops! JT's return, and a busy 2nd half ahead
The schedule is set! Canucks start the season on October 9th, 2025 and there are a lot of talking points as Matt and Blake take a look at the 82 game journey for the Canucks this season. The guys get into the possible wear and tear of road trips and back to back games, a backloaded schedule, and the prevalence of home games down the stretch. Also, find out about JT Miller and Rick Tocchet's anticipated Vancouver returns and what the guys think those receptions will be like. TSN's Frank Corrado stops by to give a player's perspective on the day the schedule is released. Frank talks about player priorities, what goes into a good/bad schedule, and why teams in Florida may get even worse travel than the Pacific teams. Frank also gets into what he thought of the Silovs trade for Vancouver, the possibility of more trades in order to sign UFA's, and the best value player that he stills sees on the unsigned UFA list. And with multiple young defenecemen battling for minutes, Corrado also goes over the likely scenario for the defence corps to start the season. Then it's another edition of The Golf Report as the guys point to the groups at the Open Championship and look at when the 4 Canadians are playing, plus, the Whitecaps are in Houston and the MLB All Star game was decided by homers?!
