Jan 19, 2026: Sherwood a Shark! Trade breakdown and more coming??

TRADE ALERT: Matt and Blake finally have another deal to break down and this time it's Kiefer Sherwood's expected departure. The guys take a look at what's coming back to Vancouver from San Jose and how it will ultimately help the team. They also look back on what Sherwood accomplished with the Canucks, including his team record that may never be broken. The guys bring in TSN's NHL insider Darren Dreger to talk about how the deal came together and how he thinks the Canucks will utilize the return. Dregs also gets into the rest of the Canucks roster as well and where interest may be at its peak, specifically any possible interest in Filip Hronek and Jake DeBrusk. Veteran broadcaster John Shannon also drops in with his review of the deal and the trade market in general. John talks about the challenges facing Canucks management because of players' trade protection clauses and the expectations that the fanbase has in the wake of the early deals here in Vancouver.
