Host of Donnie and Dhali, Rick Dhaliwal joined us and wanted to clear up that they in fact, don’t blame us for their twitch ban. After that he talked about what he heard from Jim Rutherford on a Toronto podcast. Talked about some of the guys that could be on the move. Not on the first tier, but the next level guys. Talked about why Canucks management is so upset about Garland rumours. Some sources say that it is out there and other say it is not. Rick reminds us that we are still 7 weeks out from the deadline. If it’s this crazy now, what will it be like then. Rick talked about how much time it takes to get up to speed for new executives coming from the eastern conference. 

Our Canucks reporter, Jeff Paterson joined us ahead of All-Star weekend. Jeff wondering why the game is on SAT at noon. Talked about what Rutherford said on a Toronto podcast. All the indications are that Jim is willing to do business. Unless this new FO has put its head together and said that it’s an off-season for almost all of the top players, this team isn’t good enough. Thinks Jim realizes that there is more to this job than meets the eye. Talked about Garland. JPat thinks the coaching change hasn’t worked for him.

Rob Williams of the Daily Hive joined Matt and Blake for his weekly Friday social hit. Talked about Chiasson. He defended him from being a whipping boy by Canucks fans. Canucks fans blame him for MacEwen leaving. Rob talked about former Canucks that are playing in the Olympics. There will be 7 former players.
