Rick Dhaliwal longs for the old 1040 radio days and goes on a rant about the state of sports-talk radio in Canada. Vanni Sartini previews the fast-approaching Whitecaps season. And Matt and Blake bask in the glow of a terrific Canucks-Islanders game that was teeming with storylines: Elias Pettersson taking over on both ends of the ice, a resurgent Brock Boeser, J.T. Miller contributing in the offensive and defensive zones, Bo Horvat scores and hears his name chanted but his counterpart -- Beauvillier -- gets the last laugh. And, of yeah, Andrei Kuzmenko is still in the doghouse.
