Our Monday NHL Insider, joined us for his regular hit. John mulled over what the word on J.T. Miller would be, should he start the season with the Vancouver Canucks. John listed the issues in Dallas and Vegas. Is Mike Babcock done with coaching? John mulls that over. After chatting with him on the Bob McCown Podcast, John talked about the off-season that was for Brad Treliving and if we should just give him the GM of the Year award now.

Jeff Paterson, our Vancouver Canucks Reporter, joined Matt and Blake to start the week. Before we got to hockey Jeff talked about the disappointing weekend that was for local sports teams. Jeff offered his thoughts on the various theme nights the Canucks do pretty well. Together, the three of them went through the Canucks upcoming schedule and talked about the gauntlet they will see at different points of the season. Jeff dubbed it the January mountain they absolutely need to climb. The guys talked more about Nils Höglander, the lotto line and how the season will unfold with a full season of Bruce Boudreau. And lastly, it wouldn’t be a summer hockey hit without pondering if J.T. Miller will be traded before training camp.
