John Shannon joined Matt and Blake for his regular Monday appearance. Right off the hop, John talked about what happened with Kadri and Long Island, as he reported the deal was nearly done, last week. John offered his thoughts on the difference in summers between the Flames and Islanders. Says that Brad Treliving was able to do a lot when it looked like he was in a position of weakness. John talked about the future of the World Junior event and how it translates to TV.

Head Coach of the Vancouver Giants and assistant of the Gold medal winning Canadian Junior team, Michael Dyck, joined Matt and Blake fresh off the big win on Saturday. Michael talked about the process and the 13 month journey that the win was. Coach talked about the big player showing up, including their captain Mason McTavish. Also talked about the goal line save that he has never seen before. Michael talked about his other players that were in the tournament.
