Sekeres & Price Show

The Welcome Matt kicks off the show, where Matt wonders if Jim Benning has something up his sleeve for the offseason, after telling the media today that he isn’t going to make any significant trades at the trade deadline.

Harman Dayal from the Athletic joins for the first of his weekly hits on the show. Harman touches on the COVID outbreak within Canucks organization and gives his insight on the Tanner Pearson signing and how it impacts the Canucks salary cap in the offseason.

Canucks insider Rick Dhaliwal gives an update on what he’s hearing about the possibility of Benning making any moves at the deadline. Dhaliwal also gives an update on Loui Eriksson and whether or not the Canucks will buyout the veteran forward this offseason.

The Price is Right backs Jim Benning’s statement about not wanting to trade players after having to go through the roller coaster of a season that the Canucks have had to endure.

Jeff Paterson joins for his daily hit and wonders if the Canucks will look at the standings and think they’re still in the playoff hunt after Montreal failed to separate themselves from the pack with all the games in hand they had. J Pat also wonders how Benning can say that he doesn’t foresee any cap problems this offseason.

The show wraps with the debut of Hot Take on Friday, plus all the Errors & Omissions as we head into the weekend.
