Half way through the first week of a GM search and the list of possible names is expanding quickly! Matt and Blake begin to run down the list of reported suitors and debate which make the most sense for the organization. The guys chat about the best approach for the team; experienced vs first time manager. They also look at market knowledge and how that might benefit a few of the candidates. Also, some Canucks are still in the mix to play at the Worlds! Postmedia's Patrick Johnston stops by and offers his opinions on how the Canucks are going about their business of finding a GM. PJ talks about the "multiple list" theory and who has the most infuence on the decision to be made. Plus, Patrick gets into the latest on Shane Doan's possible interest or a return from Laurence Gilman. The Daily Hive's Rob Williams joins as well and answers the experience vs youth debate. He also gets into Adam Foote's likely future and the absurdity of more than one list from multiple bosses in the Canucks organization. The Goldeneyes are almost done with season number one and GM Cara Gardner Morey stops by to discuss how it's been on and off the ice. She talks about the amazing vibes all season long, their unique chase of the first overall draft pick, and the likelihood of sweeping change to the roster, given how many players are finishing contracts. The guys finish up with a look at the MLS standings before most of the league plays matches later today, the Canadian men are still getting bad news about their centrebacks ahead of the World Cup, and the Jays may be about to change the closer's role!
